Not wild about the traditional white tent for your outdoor wedding or event? Check out these white tent alternatives: a clear tent, creating a false ceiling with fabric or lusing the tent “skeleton” with strings of lights. Each of these establishes a very unique look that will be sure to give your event your own personal stamp.
I love the clear tent idea
The clear tent is beautiful but does have some drawbacks
We catered a daytime wedding by the beach a few years ago
under a clear tent that the bride had arranged and
the guests were sweltering under the heat of the direct sun magnified.
Lesson learned (this was when clear tents had just hit the market)
It is however spectacular for a late afternoon and evening wedding when you can see the stars.
I think that veering away from the traditional white tent and doing something creative like this would be smart. Especially if you are trying to go for a wedding that is unique and all around different than what you see every day. Thanks for the idea!
