Heather and Chris were such a fun couple to work with and incorporated so many unique and creative ideas into their wedding. The ceremony was held on the rooftop of Skylight West featuring breathtaking views of the surrounding Manhattan skyline. The couple wanted the space to feel “happy”, so bright yellow rose petals lined the aisle and whimsical topiaries with lush bouquets of roses served as altar décor. Pashminas, serving as chair covers, could also be used by guests to keep warm during the ceremony. As self-proclaimed “foodies”, the couple wanted to draw on their love of food and fine dining to create a unique reception for their guests. Banquettes along with different sized tables were set up the make the space feel like a posh New York restaurant. The couple even had cell phone chargers set up in the reception so that guests could keep snapping pictures all night long. We were thrilled to have our couple’s beautiful wedding featured on Carats & Cake. Check out the post here. Congratulations Heather and Chris!

October weather can be very unpredictable, however, Brooke and Scott lucked out and had their wedding on a perfect fall day. The brisk yet sunny weather complemented Brooke and Scott’s elegant and rustic wedding at Blue Hill at Stone Barns in Pocantico Hills, NY. Just as the sun was setting, the gorgeous bride walked down the aisle to “If It’s Magic” by Stevie Wonder played by a solo trumpet. As Brooke and Scott’s guests headed inside for the reception they were greeted by an abundance of glowing candles and other incredible glass details. Thousands of candles in unique glass vessels could be found all throughout their spectacularly beautiful reception. Guests weren’t only awed by the beautiful luminous displays, everyone raved about the delicious cake from Momofuku Milk Bar for dessert. After a day filled with love and laughter, the bride and groom’s family and friends left this truly stunning wedding with special favors – homemade sea salt caramels by Brooke herself! The couples amazing wedding was featured on Elizabeth Anne Designs, if you missed it make sure to read it here! Congratulations, Brooke and Scott!

Hally and Nick got married on a dreamy, early autumn day. The green, rolling hills of Baltusrol Golf Club provided the perfect backdrop for their sleek and elegant wedding. The couple’s traditional ceremony took place at a quaint church, which was decorated with modern wreaths that were adorned with fresh, ivory hydrangeas and other beautiful floral accents. Family and friends watched Hally, who looked absolutely gorgeous, walk down the aisle to the classic “Canon in D” before they headed to the couple’s stunning and lively reception. Following the ceremony, guests found their escort cards laid out on a unique mossy display and were surrounded by sensational floral arrangements. Guests watched Hally and Nick share their first dance to “You’re In My Heart” by Rod Stewart and danced the night away. Congratulations, Hally and Nick!

Some weddings take months and months of planning, but Andrea and Stephan’s was just the opposite. The couple gave us one day’s notice to plan an intimate and charming elopement before they boarded a plane from Ireland, where they live, to New York. Andrea and Stephan were married in Central Park on November 11, 2011, a delightfully brisk and sunny day. The colorful autumn foliage was just as beautiful as the happy couple. Congratulations Andrea and Stephan!
