The Proposal Planner: Anna & Mark

We planned Mark & Anna's proposal in the Caribbean paradise of Turks & Caicos. Although they had rented a car for their weeklong vacation, we hired a taxi driver to take them to dinner the night of the proposal so they could enjoy their wine! The driver acted as a tour guide and showed the couple around the island on their way to dinner. When the driver stopped at a private beach and suggested the couple get out and take a walk, they agreed. Once on the sand, Mark handed Anna a pair of pink flip flops he had recently given her as a birthday present. They had the couple's initials etched on the bottoms so that they made imprints on the sand. When they got down to the water, Mark got down on one knee and asked Anna to spend the rest of her life with him - and she said YES! When he stood back up, Anna noticed that the blue sandals he had put on also left imprints in the sand: imprints that said "Marry Me"! The couple then had pictures taken (by their driver aka a professional photographer posing as a driver)  while the sun set over the water and they filled small jars with sand from the beach to remember the moment forever.

We are so excited to have Anna & Mark's proposal featured on Your Engagement 101! Check out the post here.

Congratulations Anna & Mark!
